From July 8 to 11, 2022, the global sustainable design theme exhibition and forum "between virtual and real" jointly organized by interni design era and China Construction Expo (Guangzhou) was grandly opened. This activity focuses on the exhibition of Chinese and international people from all walks of life in art, architecture and design. Guided by the concept of contemporary sustainable development, they continue to explore in thought and practice, so as to enrich and surpass the meaning and meaning of the traditional "beauty of emptiness and reality" and explore a new path of sustainable development. The theme planning, work selection and display, exhibition space design, exhibition design and other details of the "between virtual and real" exhibition all reflect the concept of sustainable development. At the same time, nine international first-line architects were invited to hold the Architectural Forum of "new architecture: conception and practice" and the interior design Forum of "poetic realm", which brought a double feast of artistic vision and professional thought to the audience.

This event was jointly organized by the "interni design era" and the China Construction Expo (Guangzhou), the strong appeal of the China Construction Expo (Guangzhou) and the in-depth accumulation of the "interni design era" in the field of design and Art: with the theme of "building an ideal home and serving a new pattern", more than 1200 brand enterprises participated in the 24th exhibition, with a total area of 300000 square meters. Under the situation that the epidemic is still spreading around the world, Continue to be the world's largest exhibition in the large home construction industry; Since 1954, interni magazine has been regarded as the leader and witness of the global design industry. The Chinese version of interni design era has officially entered China since 2015, helping Chinese design to the international stage. The event attracted great attention from many professionals and audiences at home and abroad.

The "between virtual and real" global sustainable design theme exhibition and forum, with a total area of 1000 square meters, is located in hall 11.2, zone B, the Canton Fair Exhibition Hall. It is composed of international classic buildings, contemporary art installations and young cutting-edge forces.

1. Building model

The first section of the exhibition is the international classic architecture section. Three classic architectural project models are displayed on the same stage: the "vertical forest" of Stefano Boeri architetti, the "time corridor" of German GMP architects and iilab "Bamboo pavilions and towers" of Xuxiang building.

Stefano Boeri architetti: vertical forest

With the increase of urban density and the reduction of available land, cities around the world began to develop vertically. The world-famous "vertical forest" was designed by Mr. Stefano Boeri, the founder of Stefano Boeri architetti, in 2006, and has become the benchmark of future architectural ideas in Milan and even the world. "Vertical forest" continues to conduct continuous research and evolution in biodiversity, regional characteristics, material selection, context excavation and other directions, and constantly explore the form of green forest and sustainable cities in the future. If "virtual" is a magnificent imagination looking forward to the human homeland and a breakthrough plan for major human issues, "real" is to constantly explore cutting-edge technologies, materials, structures and applications, "vertical forest" allows the audience to see the double surprise of contemporary architecture in the exploration of thought and practice.

German GMP architects: time corridor

Projects to reactivate existing buildings have become increasingly important in China. German GMP architects transformed the stainless steel workshop of Baowu iron and steel in 1985 into the new main campus of Shanghai Academy of fine arts. This project has become the focus of attention in the process of developing the original industrial land into an art district. The architect took "time corridor" as the concept. This design not only faithfully retained the spirit of the original building, but also fully considered the balance of natural light, energy saving and functional space planning after the reconstruction of the building.

IILab. Xuxiang building: bamboo forest pavilions

IILab. The theme of narrative architectural design is carried out in an experimental way, and the realization of the design is promoted through strict implementation of the concept, so as to create a unique solution suitable for the environment and users. Facing the magnificent landscape of Guilin, where endless green plants surround large hills and boulders, the designer was impressed by the bamboo pavilions designed by Liusanjie Park, shifting the focus of design and planning to an intervention method that can maintain the existing landscape, while strengthening coordination and highlighting the beauty of local nature, by borrowing the growth habits of bamboo and the spatial form formed in its growth process, Reconfigure it to form a new space, and imperceptibly insert many perceptual elements such as handicraft methods and visual drama experience into the design.

2. Contemporary art installation

The second part of the exhibition is the installation of contemporary art. The three Chinese artists showed the strong explanatory and innovative power of the combination of art and the concept of sustainable development.

Sui Jianguo: sand in Changsha

The starting point of the conception of sand in Changsha comes from a small "sand" in Changsha. The artist Sui Jianguo picked up a grain of sand from the Bank of the Xiangjiang River, magnified it hundreds of thousands of times under the microscope, and then cut, welded and assembled it into a metal shape up to 56 meters high with a Corton steel plate for shipbuilding. From nature to man-made, from outdoor environment to indoor art, from small natural elements to large sculptures, the interaction and praise between man and nature are intensively reflected in this work.

Tanyingjie: big fold

The change of the city is reconstructed in a way of "Space folding", which wakes up the audience's re perception of the urban space and the overlap of memory. Tan Yingjie, an artist who graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of fine arts, used aluminum plate as the material of industrial building materials to decompose and reconstruct typical urban architectural scenes. The three-dimensional interlaced visual sense makes the work go beyond the replication of simple reality, and more integrated to convey the real impression and feeling.

Wang Shumao: starfish chair

Environmental protection is one of the most concerned social issues in contemporary society, which is closely related to everyone. In this era of resource scarcity, old-fashioned reconstruction is an effective way to reject resource waste and support low-carbon and environmental protection. Starfish chair is such a creative achievement of Wang Shumao, a cutting-edge post-90s designer and well-known curator, who advocated environmental protection with practical actions. Using the star shaped structure of the base of the office chair abandoned by the factory, through their series splicing, and then simple processing, it can be reborn into an interesting children's chair. From design to processing, the whole process has the beauty of "simplicity".

3. Cutting edge works

The panel of young and cutting-edge forces is the characteristic section of this exhibition. The works of young artists are collected by interni design age in cooperation with SKD international art education. It is launched in this exhibition to better explore the cutting-edge forces and show the endless ingenuity and creativity from the new forces.

Zhou Liwen: old clothes recycling

Zhou Liwen's old clothes recycling device comes from the designer who accidentally found that fabrics of different materials will fade to varying degrees according to the temperature. He then treated the second-hand waste clothes of students randomly selected on campus differently, subdivided the materials according to the warmth, softness and elasticity of the fabrics, and applied them to the corresponding positions in the space to give better play to their material characteristics, At the same time, consider the possibility of indoor material construction. By re applying the materials made into shape to the space of the old clothes recycling device, we will rethink the utilization of old clothes.

Sun Xiaoyu: interpersonal change

Sun Xiaoyu's works reflect the new generation's remembrance of interpersonal changes, "I created the concept of Petri dish, trying to convey the concealment, deterioration and disconnection of interpersonal relationships. The acrylic box is used to symbolize the Petri dish, and the concept of relationship isolation is expressed by dividing the branches. The whole work is divided into three areas, representing the reasons for five kinds of relationship disconnection, using organic and simple materials. The lines wrapped on the branches represent the relationship between people, and the form of expression changes from rough to fine; the growth of mold in the vessel metaphors the relationship Deterioration of. "

While displaying architectural works and artistic installations, interni design times presents the magazine of recent years in the exhibition hall, so that the audience can get a better reading experience after visiting the exhibition. The works of various issues of interni design times have won the attention and appreciation of more audiences with their consistent quality.

The exhibition space and Exhibition viewing experience are also quite bright spots. Interni design era specially invited AREA-17, a well-known Italian design firm, as the designer of the exhibition space, to create a design space inspired by "myself and myself": the magazine has a power to bring people completely into another world. AREA-17 continues and utilizes this power, aiming to reproduce this private experience in this theme exhibition. Several cocoon shaped immersive spaces created in the exhibition hall allow the audience to fully focus on the exhibits in front of them. The materials used in the exhibition are low-cost, easy to disassemble and recyclable. They practice the concept of sustainable development and have been highly praised and recognized by the audience.
